Blue Shirts

Today I got a chance to catch up on some much needed sleep :) I slept in until 10:30am and then took a shower. Today is dress like your roommate day. We are all wearing blue shirts (with writing) and jeans. When Erin went to purchase the shirts last night. Due to the fact that everyone and their dog has homecoming soon and they have class color days the t-shirt variety was limited. So the only color that had sizes even pseudo relevant to ours was blue. I really like blue so I was fine with that. The sizes are men's so they are big to begin with. Danielle and Amanda got mediums and were swimming in them. I got an XL as did Erin and they are both very big. We all tied/pinned them so that they fit better. They are super cute. For lunch I went to the dining hall and coughed through the whole meal. Now it's off to class for the day. I need to talk to Dr. Trapp after class and get my recommendation and work on my portfolio. I got an e-mail from Heather from Teens Alone and she is going to come pick up the boxes from Menards on Friday at 6:00pm. I have lots to do this weekend to get caught up on stuff so it will be busy and I need to work lots of things.

Buried in Scripture

I have spent the majority of the day today buried in Scripture preparing for Rooted this evening. I really want to provide the college students with some solid Scripture to tie into this next section of the video.

I am also learning just how difficult it is to plan a mission trip... I have got a proposed budget down and it will be about $300 per student. That is on the high end. However, I need to have a 25 yr old driver to rent the van and drive it. I have a few adults in mind, but some of them are older and can't drive for that long...

I just realized that I need to take some extra time to organize my Sunday Morning Youth Bible study because I haven't been doing that much... and it has been very rough... It is hard to plan for Sunday because I don't want to do it on Friday and Saturday I'm not motivated enough, which means I do it on Thursday while at work and its just difficult because its like 3 days away...

There is a pastors conference here at the church next Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday and Pastor wanted me to make up a welcome slide presentation type thing so I made one with Prezi. Here it is!

That's about all I've got for today!

I hope you had a great time at fieldwork and the rest of your Wednesday went well!

Love ya lots!

Chaos

I feel like I never stop running. I am currently working on my portfolio. I have a powerpoint due tomorrow, a Church History test that I have yet to START studying for, and my lesson plan for field work. AHH. It seems there are not enough hours in the day. So I am working on my portfolio now and then this evening will hit Church History hard core. I stayed up late last night working on field work and TRUTH stuff. Emily Stanzyk skyped me at 12:30am asking if she could come up since she was to tired to drive back home. She got in the elevator and I simply pressed the button outside my door (on the 3rd floor) to bring her up. To my sadness the elevator was empty as she was in the OTHER elevator. So I went down the stairs and got in the other elevator and rode up with her. Today in chapel I coughed and coughed and coughed and was going to leave because I was so disruptive but I stuck it out. I didn't eat lunch as I didnt have time since I had to run to Dr. Trapp's office and pick up my entrance to the program signature sheet but he was not there and then went to class where I discovered my ethernet cable is broken. Alas I now and trying to knock off some of my to-do list homework before class at 3. Then hopefully I can dedicate this evening to studying for my church history test.

A New Start

This blog is a new start for our relationship. Each day, we will find time to post a snippet about an experience or something funny that happened during the day. It can be something that reminded us of each other or it can be something completely random.

This is in effort to rekindle the romantic interest in a relationship that is suffering long distance turmoil.
